Hello all, I want to start with saying I haven’t read the book in several years and honestly I’m not the books biggest fan. I did however enjoy the book and I’m posting to ask about a quote from the book that has stuck with me. The way I remember it was around the middle of the book when some of the high ranking, high society characters were discussing politics and the state of things and what not. One of them says something along the lines of, “if I don’t fully understand something it frustrates me and I would rather not think about that thing entirely.” Obviously I don’t remember how it was said exactly so I hope that’s enough for someone to remember which part I’m referring to. I know the book said it much more eloquently and if anyone remembers I’d love to hear it. Thanks for saving me many many hours of re-reading.
