I’m looking for general guidance or anyone who has experienced something similar.
I received a USCIS ASC biometrics appointment notice. The case type on the notice is listed as I-862 Notice to Appear.
I am currently outside the United States. I do not plan to return to the U.S. within the next year, so I cannot attend the scheduled biometrics appointment or keep rescheduling it every two weeks.
I tried using the USCIS online tools and Contact Center, but the receipt number shows as invalid. I also tried chatting with USCIS, but the chat was disconnected due to verification issues.
I also checked the EOIR Automated Case Information system, and it shows that my immigration court case is pending, with an in-person Master Hearing scheduled in December.
I’m just trying to understand what procedural steps I should take and whether anyone has dealt with a similar situation.
