What do i do with my savings?
Hi everyone! I would appreciate some advice on generally, what to do with my savings and possibly investing? I have some short term goals of buying a house with my boyfriend within the year and would love some advice on how to potentially maximize any savings and growth in that time.
Right now I have:
40k in savings (HYSA)
$3600 in E*Trade brokerage
- AMZN, AAPL, APLD, SPY, ET, FNGO
- i honestly don’t know what I’m doing here but I’m putting $75 a week into it and it’s getting invested in SPY right now
~18k in Roth IRA (no 2026 contributions yet)
(And another retirement account through my employer)
Debt:
-11k student loans (paying these pretty aggressively 500-1000 per month)
I’m hesitant to be so aggressive with student loans or Roth IRA with my other financial goals, but i would appreciate advice on maybe investing i should look into or other possibilities.
