Post Cards from Dortmund (B&W), full black and white this time. Feedback very welcome.
I wanted to shoot an entire set without color as a kind of creative constraint. The city felt different through that lens, a silhouette walking under a rail bridge, a pigeon frozen in near-darkness, cranes cutting up a flat sky, graffiti on a station wall next to overhead wires.
A few specific things I'm unsure about: does the self-portrait as the cover slide work, or does it feel out of place in a street photography series? And is the pigeon sequence (still + motion blur) too much of a good thing, or does the pairing add something?
All critique welcome, composition, sequencing, edit, anything.
