Hi, I'm planning to replace my gaming headset with some good or decent headphones and an external mic. A friend of mine recommended the Fiio Jt7 which cost around 143 dollars on Amazon, I did some research on my own and saw plenty of other options that people consider to be pretty good, some of that options are the audio Technica ath m50x (or the 40x), beyerdinamics 770 pro, 990 or the 700/900 pro x, fiio jt3, talomen w550x, Sennheiser hd560s, Philips audio shp9500 and the hifiman he400 se. I'm a metalhead so I enjoy something like a V shape eq, I'm completely ignorant to most of technical audio things and terms so searching the audio curves didn't help a lot. I'll use them to play videogames too and what I'd like in a headphones would be good soundstage, a wide sound (if that term makes sense, I'd like to feel that I'm in a room with the instruments playing I guess) or something like that, good instrument separation and to have good (or decent at this price point) audio in general :) my budget would be something like $150 (I do not own a dac or any type of amp) if some of you have any other recommendations, I'm happy to check them out :) thank you for reading and responding
