Has anyone here used eggs in baneful work or souring/hex jars specifically for “cracking foundations” or causing instability?
I used an egg in a hex with the intention of souring, decay, breaking protection, and foundation cracking. I know eggs are more commonly used for cleansing and limpias, so I’m curious how other practitioners view them in curse work.
Do you see eggs as effective symbolism for:
breaking stability
rotting/souring energy
absorbing then reflecting negativity
cracking protection
Or do you think eggs work better in uncrossing/cleansing rather than hexes?
Interested in folk magic, hoodoo, witchcraft, or traditional perspectives.
