I've travelled A LOT with a tent, but this will be my first time with a hammock, and don't really know how to choose it. I will start my travels in Colombia and them go to other parts of South America, from jungle to mountains.
From my research, I got to choose between two models:
A NightCat hammock tent, something like this
pros: can use as a tent as well, seems easy to set up, cheap
cons: not sure about quality and durability, heavy
Or a Hennessey like this:

pros: light, it seems to be better quality
cons: small tarp, a bit more expenssive, more difficult to set up.
As I said, I don't know much about hammocks, any suggestions are more than welcome!
Ideally I need some brand that I can order inside EU, as I am leaving quite soon :)
