Can anyone identify this for me?
I’ve had exterminators out and they agree these look German the issue is these are either the super smart buggers from Mimic ( 1997) or something else is going on here. sticky traps have been laid and nary a bug has been caught. Landlord has come out with his exterminator buddy who is saying these are “water bugs” they took off the top to a water line outside and apparently there was a bunch in there. Also, our next door neighbors had a gnarly German infestation and moved within days of them moving we see these. Found indoors messing around by a small light. high desert CA our house IS humid. I’ve never seen these this light in color. We have had water leaks that have been patched. This is a kraut right? We are actively packing very carefully without cardboard to move.
