We rescued each other!
Sorry for the long story but I’m a new dog parent so give me some grace.🤣
I found him on the side of the road. I didn’t have the heart to leave him there alone in a remote area. I took him to the vet and learned he was a microchipped. The owners never called. I called the shelter he had been adopted from and asked what I should do. They said I could bring him back or keep him. It’s a kill shelter and there was no way I’d take him back there.
Fast forward 3 months and he has completely stolen my heart. He’s smart, rambunctious, funny and loves to cuddle. I have him in obedience class so I can learn how to train him. I took him on his first outing to Puppy Palooza and he was so good with the other dogs and noisy environment. I was a bit apprehensive about the breed but my little guy is the sweetest.
