I’ve noticed over the years here that some people wear sleeves to keep the sun off of their skin. They say it keeps you cooler overall.

I also notice a lot of athletes also wear sleeves while playing in the summer.

My question is this. I spent the last several years just rolling up my short-sleeved shirt sleeves and suffering through the heat. This year, I’d like to go the sleeves route. Is there a certain summer-weight long-sleeved shirt that is preferred? Or should I look to try compression sleeves like an athlete? Or, is there some other third option that I don’t know?

Basically, what should I look for in summer sleeves, and do you have any recommendations?
