My ears got hurt bad when my iPhone maxed the volume by itself recently.

So I tried the Reduce Loud Audio setting. Great in theory, but in reality the constant auto-tinkering with volume ruins many songs that go between loud and quiet.

Is there an alternative that just locks the audio at a certain max level, instead of this dumb dynamic volume nonsense?

I’ve been given some potentially tricky footage that appears like this:

A cam: wide shot of subject looking off to the left

B cam: close up of subject looking off to the right.

(The interviewer was in between A and B cam).

I’m wondering if there are any ways to lessen the jarring effect of this?

Or am I being overly dramatic and this is actually a common stylistic choice I have yet to see much of 😅
