I’m about a year and 9 months on estrogen and planning on changing my name after the election next weeks, but since Sandyford is Sandyford, i’m DIY-ing and thus i won’t be able to afford any surgeries for at least a few years, so should I try to get my GRC now and try to update all my documents at the same time or wait until i’ve had at least an orchi?

Also, does having a grc would affect job applications? I’m kind of skint and unemployed atm, and will need to wait on new ID before i could start applying for anything, and if i don’t get anything within like 5 months i’m a wee bit fucked 😅
