Hi, a long time ago I was flipping through my writing prompt image folder, a folder that I would save anything I would find interesting on the interwebs to prompt me to practice writing, as the name implies.
I remember I came upon a picture that I must have saved at some point, of a bird-like demon hovering over a victim, with a massive beak or bird mask. His hands were spindly and ended in long needle like claws. I remember that there was text to the side of the image that very briefly described the creature as 'Ezcabec the Eyetaker' that would steal your eyes if you werent asleep by the time he came a-knocking.
Its entirely possible Im misspelling the name, or. The image itself was drawn in an intentionally messy style, a bit like Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
While I wasnt on reddit at that time, I would occasionally scroll 4chan, and other forums related to games, writing and fantasy. I.was also on Facebook and Myspace, if thats any help. Thanks in advance.
