Hello all. So, I have a black gloss finish piano that has a bunch of these nicks on the legs, as pictured in the first photo.

I bought a small bottle of black satin hobby paint just to see how it would do. The second picture shows a nick that I used this paint on. It's not looking so good...

I like the way the paint went on and filled up the small nick and all of that, but it is definitely a different Sheen and maybe even not a dark enough black!

Am I screwed here? How can I go about making this look like the rest of the leg does? Thank you in advance.
