TLDR for original post: I had just been TS-cleared and had an EOD with a three-letter federal law enforcement agency when I remembered that I had used a hemp-derived CBD sleep aid once 1–2 years ago. I believed it was legal at the time, had no use since. I self reported but still made the post to get other people's opinion.

You guys were right, they told me to f off and stop wasting their time. Seriously though, they just said it is not a concern but advised to not use CBD again.

Used a CBD sleep aid once 1-2 years ago. At the time, I looked into legality and concluded it was a straightforward legal hemp-derived product. Hemp-derived CBD wasn’t addressed during my hiring or clearance process due to the legal definition of hemp.

I just recently learned about THC contamination/labeling issues. I was also just recently granted a TS and EOD with a three-letter federal law enforcement agency. No use since. Is this a self reporting situation?
