Hey,

I’m an adult beginner (zero experience) trying to get into tennis in The Woodlands / Spring area and looking for some direction.

1. Coaches
Any recommendations for patient coaches who are good with true beginners?

2. Cost
What are you guys actually paying around here?
I’m seeing ~$50–80/hr for private, less for group—accurate?

3. Equipment
Do I need to buy a racket before starting, or will coaches usually have extras?
If I should buy one, what’s a solid beginner option?

4. Starting out
Can I just jump in, or should I build some fitness first? i personally believe im fit enough [ i play soccer 4 times a week]

5. Anything you wish you knew early on?

Appreciate any advice—just trying to start this the right way.
