Damn, never thought I'd get to tell Jor-El himself how much I loved him in Man of Steel and for him to even reply back.
This is one of his watch videos that he does and I thought he was still filming Highlander when I asked.

I really like this style of shooting. Obviously if I had the budget, I would use all sorts of techniques for action chreography but I think this really suits the "Zero Budget Action Filmmaker" and curious if y'all have any ideas because I feel the shot composition changes too fast and too shaky for a gimbal.
I remember buying this a while ago because I was trying to scratch a Persona itch but just dropped it because newer games came out. Didn't even think about picking it back up again until they announced the sequel, Kyoto Xanadu, so since I knew I had the first one, I thought I should boot it back up.
I know this is a 10 year old game, just like Persona 5 but man, you can really feel the budget. Persona had that style that hid the lack of gameplay behind it, which helped, ALOT. It is basically Persona, just action focused but everything is pretty shallow and feels a little bit too game-y, if that makes sense. I think with games like this, style really helps a lot because it distracts you from how much you just go back and forth to the same locations and how much dialogue you trudge thru (my gripe with Atlus as well) and how "plain" the environments and art style is (I understand that is just Famcom).
That said, Kyoto Xanadu looks to have a great style and I might actually dig it way more because of it and the 2.5D/3D elements will give it variety as well, so I still feel like I would enjoy that game because it has more going for it, even though world exploration seems locked to to 2.5D, that doesn't deter me because they actually did what the first game didn't, inject style to make up for the lack of "budget" considering some might see the 2.5D as a less than, especially for a sequel. Just wish I could at least get myself to go thru it so I can know the world, characters and combat but with other games on my plate, including Trails First Chapter remake, I can't seem to stick to it
