When I started my collecting journey I was thinking about watches that I “had to have”. A watch to wear with a suit, a summer watch for the beach, a sporty every day watch… the usuals. I ended up with a Tudor, an Omega, a Grand Seiko… and I love them all but it came to a point where I was thinking that I am buying watches as musts not as fun watches. I was focusing too much on the wearability of the watch and not so much on whether it was just… fun. And the result of that change are the JLC and the Christopher Ward.
