Maybe people already knew this, but I didn’t think it was a thing, except in theory. I was traveling in London and found two separate churches - Saint James in Marylebone and Corpus Christi in Covent Garden - both of which have sung Latin masses. It was incredible.
It’s the novus ordo mass but in Latin, incense, bells, Gregorian chant (the choir at Saint James was goosebump-inducing and it was easily the most beautiful mass I’ve ever been to). Corpus Christi was more intimate.
Both were pretty much full in terms of the pews. I really cannot recommend it enough if you are in London or passing through. I definitely have a little liturgical envy ☺️
