Hi all!
We are in the process of getting our house in NW Detroit ready to sell and are considering replacing the roof on suggestion from our contractor.
Our roof footage would be about 1700ft2, and we’ve been quoted a decent bit higher than any of the average I’m reading in my research.
First question - any of you replaced a similar size roof recently? Mind to let us know ballpark cost? Especially interested if decking replacement was required as our house is 100 years old and still has the original cedar shake under the asphalt tiles.
Second question - anyone have any contractors that they would recommend that are trustworthy, reasonable and that honor their work?
