"The legendary horror shocker featuring monster icon Leatherface will be released on May 21st as a very special fan package (1,444 units). The exclusive artwork by Tony Stella adorns both the capbox and the mediabook, which contains an Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, 2x bonus Blu-rays, and a 64-page German booklet section. The film’s bonus material amounts to 13.5 hours. Additional goodies include 4 photo replicas, a program booklet mini replica, stickers, and an order notepad.
We have always admired Tony’s work and were very happy that he created the artwork for this release. Now Tony has passed away and our collaboration is both a beginning and a farewell at the same time. R.I.P.
Also included is the documentary CHAIN REACTIONS on Blu-ray in a digipak. Here, five connoisseurs and masters of horror recall their life-changing encounter with the chainsaw massacre — director Karyn Kusama, film critic Alexandra Heller-Nicholas, cult director Takashi Miike, comedian Patton Oswalt, and the „King of Horror,“ Stephen King.
The bundle also contains the documentary DINNER WITH LEATHERFACE on Blu-ray in a further digipak. Director Michael Kallio looks behind the mask and pays tribute to actor Gunnar Hansen with a film portrait. Over 60 friends, colleagues, and companions share their memories, including Bruce Campbell, Jeff Burr, John Dugan, Tiffany Shepis, Debbie Rochon, and many more.
The „Legendary Bundle“ is also available as a deluxe variant with a chainsaw replica — limited to just 222 units. Inspired by Leatherface’s chainsaw and produced by Trick Or Treat Studios at a 1:1 scale, it features sound effects as well as a rotating saw chain — a real showstopper for any TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE collection or Halloween party."
