Altitude & AFib

Hi, all.

41m here (living in USA) diagnosed with paroxysmal afib, and thankfully haven't had any sort of sustained episode for a couple years. Currently on a low dose of carvedilol twice per day.

My wife and I want to take another vacation next year, and one of the countries on our short list is Peru. One of my concerns, however, is the altitude / altitude sickness and how that can put additional stress on the heart due to reduced oxygen levels. I've been trying to do some reading on how altitude affects afib, but nothing concrete which I guess isn't surprising simply because of the nature of afib and how unique it can be to each individual.

Wondering if any here have had any experience with higher altitudes and afib. Any issues that you have experienced?

I plan on reaching out to my EP's office for guidance as well. Thanks in advance!

Looking for help to ID two trees in our neighbor's yard. My wife really likes them and mentioned that it would be nice to have some in our yard.

We are located in Michigan, USA. I am not able to get a good picture of the tree bark, and right now, there are no twigs available in our yard that I know are from these trees.
