
Yeah theyve cancelled most routes into Puerto Vallarta from my home airport BUT i received zero notice and my points (which ive used to reserve) are still not refunded. Basically points, taxes, and added cost for seats are still in ‘used’ status. I get this is mainly due to the petulant child’s proclivity for making impulsive decisions so im not too upset at the cancelled flight itself. What im angry is receiving absolutely no notice anywhere through email or app
EDIT - simply posting to see if someone else has experienced same issues. I am awaiting a call back. “Estimated Wait Time is greater than 30 min” as of 6:45 PM CST so yes i am awaiting a call back while perusing fellow Redditors responses
EDIT 2- SWA agent informed me that route was cancelled on April 30th. The system accidentally did NOT cancel my flight just route so there is a fligjt there tied with points and money unreleased but the route itself was cancelled. She said in turn the system did NOT send an automated cancellation with options. She apologized and we were both nice and courteous to each other
