So a while ago, I had a YouTube account with a handle that I use everywhere. I really liked the handle, but I wanted to transfer the handle onto a different account because I wanted the account to be linked to a different email.

AnyWho, I switched my main account off of the old handle, and would have switched the new one onto the handle, but it just won’t let me. It tells me I can’t use the handle despite it being unused by anyone.

When I try and revert the handle on my old account, it says I have to wait 24 days.

What is happening? Can you not use a handle that has been used previously, even if nobody holds it?
