With the recent surge of gas pricing throughout the country, do any of you think that our government will re-implement a hybrid telework schedule for federal employees if the prices keep rising throughout the year? It would sure cut back on the amount of gas we’re using as I’m spending $60/per week or more filling up my tank to get to and from my duty station about 25 miles each way on top of my usual city driving around my town after work. The oil issue is much more severe in places in Southeast Asia but I’ve heard they’ve implemented a telework schedule for this reason and wanted to know if you guys think it could get to that point here? Any thoughts are appreciated!
