I am fairly new to the game and I haven't done very much yet except try to find towers and shrines, and memory locations. Out of all the places in the game I enjoy going to Rito village the most, and the surrounding valley. It is very calm and peaceful, and I enjoy talking to them the most. I thought it was cool that the store has a recipe for apple pie and they just happen to have most of the ingredients for you to buy. I had a little chuckle.
