Bit of context, i have 5+ years of experience in backend development mainly in JAVA and azure.
recently i interviewed for TCS and got selected for same JAVA backend role, joined TCS 2 month back, randomly i used to get calls about project and i used to attend all client evaluation calls. fastforward i got cornered into accepting a VBA role, i raised my concern and dropped couple of mails to my now manager about skill mismatch and asking for release from project but mostly those are ignored.

now 2 month in probation, i feel like i am destroying my career staying here and doing vba task, hence decided to drop resignation, which quickly got escalated with HR.

what is the worst i can expect them to do, what are my options and pls guide me if i have made any wrong decisions.

Note : i know dropping paper without a new offer in hand is bad, but the work environment is way to toxic , micromanaging manager with insulting tone, and 9am to 9pm in office work does not leave time to prepare and leave, not to mention i can see people doing unpaid saturday work without compoff.

i thank anyone who takes time to provide their advice.
