Hey guys! Newer to knitting here, and I wanted to knit the cloud sweater, but my problem is is I currently have the yarn I want to use, but it’s sport weight and when I add a single strand mohair, it would be Aran weight. I’m worried that if I try and modify the sweater because I won’t meet gauge because the weight doesn’t match that I’m gonna screw something up. Is it worth adding two strands of mohair because I think that might push it over into the bulky category and then that would meet the recommendation for the sweater or should is it better to just go up a size in the sweater? This would be my first sweater and I’m just nervous to screw it up. I’ve been trying to search through projects in Ralvery who might’ve knitted this in Arin weight but they don’t leave a lot of comments as to how they modified the sweater otherwise.
