Hi, I’ve got an old Sony Xperia J (ST26i) running Android 4.x and I’m trying to figure out what will happen if I factory reset it.

The situation is:

The phone is currently locked with a pattern + security question I don’t remember the pattern or the security question answer The phone used to belong to my dad, but his Google account no longer shows the device I’m not sure if a Google account is still tied to it or if it was removed long ago I cannot access the old Google account either

My main concern is:

If I factory reset this phone, will it trigger Google FRP (asking for the previous account), or is it unlikely on Android 4.x devices like this?

I’ve seen mixed info online about whether FRP even applies properly on older Xperia phones running Android 4.

Any advice or real experience with this model/Android version would be really appreciated.
