How did it work at your local store?
This was my first time going to RSD at my local shop. We were 50th in line, we were handed numbers an hour before doors opened. I didn't really know what to expect, but I did think there would be some sort of order. I was surprised to discover that once the doors opened and people were inside, it was a chaotic disaster. There were 6 small boxes of exclusive releases placed around the store marked with balloons. The records in these boxes were in random order. People were rushing and pushing and being generally rude. We left empty handed as all of the boxes were picked clean of the releases we were looking for. I knew there was a solid chance we would walk away with nothing but I didn't realize how cut throat it would be. I just hope the people who bought the records actually wanted them, and weren't just trying to flip them for a profit.
