I’ve been in commercial insurance for the past 8 years and was laid off a few months ago. I’m having a hard time looking for any openings and trying to decide where I can pivot with my experience or if I should start fresh in a different industry.

I worked for a brokerage company and I have experience with New business as insurance carrier service agent. I’m not licensed but willing to if needed. I have the most experience in insurance accounting operations. I handled agency and direct billing. I prefer not to go the account manager route or sales. If anyone has any insight to share I would be the most grateful.
