Got rear ended recently on motorway couple of weeks ago, fair old whack 5 figures worth of damage to car and some whiplash to me to boot. My 2 young kids in the back of the car and a dog in the boot but all unscathed thank god, other driver nearly died when I told them this.
Garda have since asked me to make a voluntary statement under caution since there was an injury to me and Ive told them ill think about but part of me wants to do the other driver a solid and just draw a line under it because I think they were a bit unlucky if im honest. I intend to pursue a personal injury claim anyway but I've no ill feeling towards the other motorist despite my sore neck. Am I being too soft?
