Not feeling 100?
I have been feeling crummy the last few days...cough, headache, heavy chest, etc. I am in the middle of a 10k improvement plan and am supposed to have 1k intervals today. I don't think pushing my body is the right thing to do right now and know I need to take it easy in order to feel better, so I tried out the not feeling 100% option.
I selected dates through the end of the week. However, when I go into my plan again, nothing has changed at all. I'm still supposed to be doing 1k intervals at a fast speed today and a mid-distance run tomorrow, just as I was before I selected the not feeling 100. What is the point of making the change for illness? Does it just not take into account slower speeds or unfinished workouts so that your race pace isn't affected?
I was really hoping to still stay active but just take it much easier in order to recover. I obviously can still do that, but didn't want to have to skip or "fail" my runs in order to do so. I was hoping Runna would help me out here!
