I am trying to figure out the best way I should go about doing this and I would appreciate some advice. I have a B.b.a in computer information systems and M.S in cybersecurity. I am currently working in the IT/security field now. However, my dream was to pursue astrophysics. i really don't know why i decided to put that to the side all these years but I am gaining the motivation to completely pivot career paths within the next few years.

Some of the Masters programs I am seeing in Astronomy/Astrophysics requires some credit hours in in physics, higher level math, etc. My Bachelors and Masters have basically zero overlap with the Astronomy/astrophysics requirements.

I think my first step is to reapply to undergrad. Is that a good idea? Are there alternative options I could pursue to get credit hours and be eligible to apply to a Master's degree in this field? I genuinely do not mind going back to undergrad school, but if there are other options I would be willing to check those out as well.

I live in Georgia if that helps narrow down any potential school possibilities. I am also open to online schooling or anything like that.

I am open to any and all advice and thoughts on this.

Thank you!
