OPS: Inform us when you receive an AWA response
Responses to AWA requests are finally beginning to be issued across several ministries and we expect the pace of responses to increase over the next few weeks.
If you have filed an AWA request, it is imperative that you inform AMAPCEO when you receive a response. Please let us know via an email to: awa@amapceo.on.ca.
Sharing your AWA response helps the union to identify trends and strengthens our ability to support policy disputes related to the Employer’s RTO agenda.
If you are dissatisfied with the AWA response you receive, please remember that Workplace Representatives (WPRs) are available to support you. You have 30 working days from the date of the response to file a dispute.
If you have not yet received a formal response to your AWA request and have not filed a dispute concerning this delay, we encourage you to do so. Please contact a Workplace Representative or the AMAPCEO office for guidance on next steps.
