So I bought a new to me 2014 Honda pilot touring. There was no warranty offered, the car had 137k miles on it. Within 30 miles of driving the car after purchasing it, a check engineer light came on for code P0301. Took it straight back to Honda for the service department to look at, they are saying it’s a 5500 dollar repair and the sales manager is telling me car was sold as is. This was bought from a Honda dealer, I did prepurchase inspection at a different mechanic’s shop aswell before buying the car. KY doesn’t have any type of lemon law for used car. What do I do? I filed with AG already, not sure if there’s anything else I should be doing or if there’s a way to see if this was pre-existing and they cleared the codes on me.
