Had a sudden itch to paint last weekend and picked this one that has been gathering dust on my desk for about a year now.

During painting i always felt like something was off about her eyes no matter what i did...now with high resolution photos, the culprit seems to be a slight different iris shape. Something to keep in mind next time...eyes are hard, man. So is metal, but that i knew.

Mini by Twin Goddess Miniatures, Resin Print that has been judging me from my desk for....a year now? Didnt have time or inspiration to paint in over half a year and suddenly HAD to paint something last weekend.

Felt good to go really basic in terms of paints - no zenithal priming, no transparent paints, no oil washes...just layering. Very zen, somehow.

Second actual attempt at NNM and obviously still a long way off with that. Good to have goals, i suppose?
