Timeline:
• Married in Nov 2021
• Applied for GC Sept 2022
• Received 2-year GC Dec 2022
• Applied for removal of conditions Sept 2024
• Received receipt notice (I-797) and 4-year GC extension on Oct 2024 (about 1 1/2 year ago).
My relationship is not doing well, and I worry what would happen if we separate. How long does it usually take for the removal of conditions to be approved? Do I need to reapply if we separate?
Would be great to hear from someone who has separated during this stage and how you handled it.
