I've had this laptop since 2016. In 2017(ish) my cat dumped a whole spray bottle of water on it (I was unaware he had figured out how to unscrew the top until it was all over my laptop), so for the next several years it worked if it was plugged in. Then it somehow fixed itself(laptop fairies is my theory) I think it was 2022 or so. And it hasn't had any issues with the battery for the last few years. Tonight I got on it to work on some stuff, and it seemed fine, until I plugged it in. Now I'm getting a message saying that the battery isn't charging and it's running on the power coming from the charger, so is it fixable? Is it even worth fixing? Do you think the laptop fairies will come back and my computer will magically fix itself? Or should I start shopping for new computers? I know she's old, but we've been through a lot together. All advice is appreciated!!!
