My newish bathtub caulk job is starting to show discoloration. It almost looks like some moldy mildew seeped under the caulk but only in some spots. I scrubbed with bleach solution but no change. Caulk is about 9 months old. It was a newly surfaced bathtub.
I'm thinking next move is to replace the caulk, but thought I'd ask the experts first. Whadya think - time for new caulk, or can I treat the existing somehow? And how can I keep it from happening again?
