Hi! I'm a first time parent to twin 3 year olds and I noticed that in some of their daily photos sent they're riding things like tricycles, balance bikes and scooters without helmets. I was a Peds trauma case manager so I've seen the types of injuries that not wearing helmets can cause and I may be overly cautious for these types of toys/age range.

While I'm pretty confident a tricycle without a helmet will be fine (and honestly my girls aren't coordinated well enough to pick up speed on a scooter) I have seen kids absolutely hauling ass on balance bikes before.

Being this is only the second daycare I've ever been around (the first didn't have these types of toys) is it typical that helmets are worn or no?
