Aeromechanics or Avionics for 3rd year
I have to pick my modules for third year Aerospace Engineering and I am not sure which stream to follow, I am an international student so I want to go towards a field that ensures better job security as well, I have heard avionics has more opportunities compared to aeromechanics however it is also comparatively harder and I do not have a good foundation in programming. On the other hand I generally prefer aeromechanics modules such as thermodynamics or materials. Which of these fields will be more beneficial as a graduate engineer.
here are the modules I get to pick from in either field:
Aeromechanics: Aerospace Metals, Advanced Engineering Thermodynamic Cycles, Manufacturing Systems, FEA, CFD
Avionics: Space Systems Engineering, State-Space Control Design, Machine Learning, Antennas, Radar and Navigation
