I’ve been seeing a lot of confusion around China business visas (M visa), especially in 2025–2026.
From what I’ve observed, approval doesn’t just depend on your documents, but also heavily on:
• Which city your invitation letter is issued from
• Whether the inviting company is “clean” in the system
• Your previous visa history in China
One thing many people overlook:
Even with a proper invitation letter, some applicants still get rejected or only receive short stays.
In contrast, cases with stronger company background + clear visit purpose tend to get longer duration visas.
Also, some cities are more flexible with extensions than others.
Just sharing this because I’ve seen very different outcomes depending on small details.
Curious what others have experienced recently.
