I was recently fired for missing too many days at work. However, for those absences, I was required to provide a sick note from a doctor. There were some days where I couldn't provide a sick note because of my mental health issues. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at a very young age, and these conditions started to interfere with my work. I had long discussions with my manager about my situation, during which she asked me very personal questions. I only shared the basics because I wasn't comfortable revealing too much. They were aware of my mental health struggles, and I was actively seeking help.

At one point, my manager even asked me to cancel a therapy appointment to come in, which I declined. During one of my depressive episodes, I called in a day ahead to notify them that I wouldn’t be able to work. Subsequently, I received a message saying they were terminating my employment immediately.

Now, I want to know if I can sue for discrimination or damages.
