Just moved in and needed to re-mount our 65 inch TV ~6 inches lower (previous spot was just too high which you can see the prior holes). I used a stud finder, drilled proper pilot holes, and used an impact wrench to really get the bolts in good.
I've never seen this before but it looks like the drywall is cracked and bubbling on both sides, but all of the bolts feel very solid and the mount is rated up to 135 pounds.
Based on a few other threads it seems like I just over-tightened the bolts and this damage is only cosmetic, but it still looks pretty scary. Is there any reason I should be concerned, or is this just something I'll have to fix when I move out down the road?
Appreciate the help!
