Profile as a Math undergrad
Im a sophomore at a big 10 state school in the midwest majoring in math. Im taking graduate measure theory now and will take measure theoretic courses in brownian motion, stochastic processes, martingales next year. Currently, my research interests center around discrete math, where i will be publishing a paper with my mentor, who is confident the result is significant enough to make it into a top journal. After this, I plan to continue research in theoretical cs, where my mentor is confident we can continue to publish some good results. Is this a strong enough profile for QR/QT roles? I dont really have a lot of internship experience since my focus has mainly been on discrete math/ TCS.
