Asking more than rubric, help!
Does anyone else have experience with a professor docking your grade even though you followed the rubric? I noticed that when I started this class the way this professor talks and writes is a bit… different. Didn’t think anything of it. I did my work and always check the rubric to make sure I hit the mark. (Mind you I have had straight A’s, literally all 100% for the last two months) Now I have this professor and he gave me a B- . It would be one thing to get a higher B but a B- when I’m trying to keep a certain GPA, is bs. I literally followed the rubric to a T and provided more. He tried to say certain things and when I looked back, he is wrong. The things he’s trying to say don’t even make sense. No one did those things he’s trying to imply (because it wasn’t a part of the assignment) and I even did more than most. So because I don’t speak like you do (which I still know how to speak correctly, I can’t explain the way this person talks), I went into detail, my writings were organized (tried to say they weren’t), and more. I’m just highly confused and frustrated. If they want us to do more than the rubric or assignment states shouldn’t they have to SAY THAT?? How can you mess up my grade like that off of writing style or idk possibly “opinion” and not the rubric or actual assignment at hand. What can I do??
