I have LG WKHC252HBA (same as HWA). It has a ventless heat pump dryer. I'm getting a "DRN" error when I dry clothes. Basically, the dryer is not draining properly. I have troubleshooted everything I can think of. The drain hose is clear and not kinked (I even have it running downhill all the way to a bucket). I have replaced the main drain pump (located bottom front right of the washer). I have thoroughly cleaned the main & secondary filters. I have run the 'Condenser Care' cycle after having loaded the filter bay with 1 Liter of hot water (to break up lint build-up). I am STILL getting this DRN error. I am trying to find out, from anyone who knows, if this unit has a SEPARATE drain pump for the dryer, or does it simply drain by gravity? If it does have a separate drain pump, is that the Heat Pump?

I have spoken with LG support (worthless - always give me the wrong part#). I have spoken with LG Parts (same issue). I have spoken with Authorized Parts dealers. I've even paid and spoken with online repair services. So far NO ONE has been able to tell me if there is a separate drain pump for the dryer.

I really don't want to take the entire unit apart to find out that there is (or isn't) a drain pump for the dryer. What I've seen online is that it would require disassembly of virtually the whole dryer unit, including removal of the drum.... Not what I want to do in my spare time.

Does anyone have any experience with this unit that can shed some light on this problem? Thanks SO MUCH in advance!
