I know I want to quit early to mid August, and I am tweaking about the actual act of setting my end date! I’m trying to decide the best time to do so, and I have quite a busy summer with travel. Is it actually beneficial to set an end date longer than 1 month out, or is that just a myth?
I’m nervous for the following reasons:
if my TL reschedules/cancels a 1:1, what if I missed my 4-week window?
I do not want to screw anyone over or upset anyone. I know “I don’t owe Epic anything” etc etc but I do really appreciate the people on my team and would like to set them up for success.
Maybe silly concern but does anyone have advice for the actual moment of saying, “I am putting in my notice”? I haven’t given many (or any) hints that I’m unhappy because I truly don’t care enough to improve my situation, so I am overthinking the whole thing so badly that I may talk myself out of it?? Any words of advice appreciated!
