Outage caused by clumsy engineers in fibre panel/cabinet

Came home on Saturday evening to find my 2000 service offline, rebooted ONT and Router etc. etc. with no joy. Turns out the ONT is showing a red light on the optical side.

So I raise an incident and they get an engineer out on the Monday (this week), they state that it’s an external issue that he cannot fix but is likely in the connection box in the junction box in the pavement pit, realistically a clumsy engineer installing another service knocking mine offline.

Thing is this is the second time this has happened, are engineers competing for space in these junction points at the stage they don’t care of they disrupt other services working perfectly by knocking the fibre links offline!

Customer service had another appointment available yesterday, however the team who attended once again stated they could not fix the issue and it was the network team who would need to attend. They said the network team would be out this morning, but yes it is 1pm and still nothing. Why are YouFibre support not able to tell me when my issue will be resolved!

Anyone else experiencing this level of comedy show with YouFibre? All I want is my service back online as I work from home and running off a 5G connection is simply rubbish!
